My approach to psychotherapy is person-centered, humanistic, and trauma-informed. I am trained in a range of therapy modalities that I weave together to best suit your needs. Psychodynamic theory greatly informs my thinking, and I also pull from Internal Family Systems parts work. I may integrate mindfulness exercises as well as movement in our work together. To help me better understand you, I encourage you to invite me into your inner world via the use of dreams, art, writing, music, or other means of metaphor.

Therapy is challenging. We will explore experiences you may have buried long ago, and we will process difficult emotions that accompany them. When you are working with the right therapist to address and understand your needs, therapy can be deeply rewarding and life-changing. It can open you up to new possibilities and heal past trauma. I will witness and guide you in this process. I treat this responsibility with the utmost respect and care, as it is your life, and what could be more precious than that!
